The "Key-Factor" Valuation at only $199.00 is a non-complicated ideal report for smaller or relatively new business
or Professional Practice to identify the potential value of the entity.

A properly prepared valuation can be a tool to define the strategic drivers of a company's value instead of functional tactics.

Although business valuations can sometimes be forced on a business owner as a result of a transfer, dissolution or litigation, the valuation process can serve as an educational and integral management tool for increasing the worth of a business and sometimes discovering "Profit Leaks". By focusing on the specifics of a business and its industry, the valuation draws attention to the areas of the business that may enhance or diminish value.

Generally, the business is the single largest and most important asset the business owner has and most business owners do not place enough importance on that until they are ready to put it up for sale. A business owner recently stated to me that he wanted to sell his business by the end of the year. An additional thought process was introduced into the conversation when I inquired if the most important item was to sell the business or to possibly increase the value by discovering the business profit leaks and correcting them.

A recent article in a trade magazine said, "If you value your business…value your business (in other words, have a valuation performed). A prudent business or professional practice owner should make sure the price is right. Our Valuations can be performed on any Business Entity or Professional Practice. If you don't know what your business is really worth, you are flying blind (and perhaps not realizing a justifiable return on your investment).

Keep in mind is that when you own a private company, no one can look up its value in a newspaper.

The U.B.M.C. Business & Professional Practice Valuation Process

Step 1.

When we receive your Valuation Order, we will E-Mail to you our initial Valuation Questionnaire which you may chose to print. You will also receive by E-Mail a coded link to complete the questionnaire interactively on-line.

This Questionnaire will ask for information about your business. It typically requires 30-minutes or less to complete.

We will ask to have your financial statements inclusive of the most recent P & L and Balance Sheet (information from the balance sheet is utilized for asset values). These can be E-Mailed to us (note: E-Mail requires the reports to be in .pdf, excel or QuickBooks) Typically, your tax preparer will have these available or they can be generated through your financial software program. (after you order, a detailed and simple instructional letter will be
e-mailed to you )

Step 2.

If necessary, we will contact you confirm or clarify information from the questionnaire or the financial statements.

Step 3.

We will begin the Valuation process by making any necessary adjustments of your Profit and Loss Statements. This is what is known in the industry as Reconstruction of the Income Statements. People refer to the results in several ways. Some of the typical phrases are SDC (Sellers Discretionary Cash (Earnings), SDCF (Sellers Discretionary Cash Flow), EBIT (Earnings before interest and taxes) and EBITDA (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization).

You as the business owner may want to have a "good idea" of the value of your business without having (and paying for) an extensive valuation report. We offer a "Key-Factor" Valuation for only $199.00. This report computes YOUR business value by the multiple of earnings and other methods and provides you (as the business owner) with a "good idea" of value. Again, the price is ONLY $199.00 and available on the order menu after you click ORDER NOW  or the "Order Now" button.

Step 4.

The "Key-Factor" PLUS Valuation @ only $199.00 (including Financial Statement Adjustments) is ideal for smaller or relatively new business or Professional Practice to identify the potential value of the entity. The report is 12 pages, professional and informative.
